Commissioned Pottery

Dane House Pottery creates personalized bowls and vases that incorporate your photograph directly into the finished piece. Whether it’s a beloved pet, a special memory, or an image with personal meaning, each vessel is individually made to complement your photograph while retaining the distinctive character of handmade pottery.

The example shown began with a favorite photograph of our first two Great Danes (Beau and Finn) dressed for Christmas. The image was incorporated into the center of a handcrafted bowl and surrounded by a peacock-inspired glaze design—transforming a special photograph into a lasting, functional piece of art.

Start by choosing a bowl or vase, followed by the size and surface designs that best complement your photograph.

Because the personalized artwork requires a minimum area of approximately 3.5" × 5", custom pieces are available in Medium and Large sizes only.

Medium — $75
Large — $95
Shipping within the continental U.S. is included.

For your inside color or design, choose the peacock-inspired treatment shown in the example, a solid color, or another available Dane House design appropriate for your vessel.

For the outside color or design, choose an ocean-inspired glaze, a complementary solid color, or another Dane House surface treatment.

Browse the Dane House Pottery inventory and find a piece with a color, glaze combination, or design you love. Simply reference that piece when submitting your custom order, and we will use it as inspiration for your vessel.

Because every piece is handmade and kiln-fired, variations in glaze color, movement, texture, and pattern are a natural part of the process. Your finished piece will be uniquely yours.
